NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of some top telecom companies were mixed at the close of trading: AT&T Inc rose $.16 or .6 percent, to $26.06. Qwest fell $.03 or .6 percent, to $4.97. Sprint Nextel rose $.19 or 5.3 percent, to $3.80. Verizon rose $.15 or .5 percent, to $30.30.
